RB's motivation: NOTEPAD HERE WE GO update haul 1

So have been ignoring this a little bit because of some major anger issues involving certain fuck ups in the family. Also losing the ipod in Target didn't help, got it back with in two days. But then things happened that were a bit distracting. BUT I hope to be back. And with less than a week till move in day for College. We are really rushing the clock on life and money these days.

I got quite a bit done for Notepad I think, like considering how much work goes into that design and I'm actually doing it somehow. This is not a most recent picture. I have doubles up that black gunk by a bit and I like it better. 

Here it shows I used up all that fabric from the Cosplay Fox. And it's quite thick like I need it yet I STILL NEED MORE FABRIC for that full ball gown effect. Good thing I have some curtain fabric from Tricia to test out later on. That will be another post because layering these things is HELL AND TEDIOUS. Not hard or difficult, just time consuming. 

Also if anyone saw the last post they know that the white petticoat is not available at party city yet, for some reason. And so I had to test it out using the red one I bought for RWBY

I'm really digging the but bumpish thing going on with the back. Not as impressed with the floof in the front

 Also got the beautiful gloves at Party city days ago. Very impressed with these

Also not totally connected to Notepad but it does matter for her. I found the facepaint at Party city, I was scared of the cheap quality so I sealed it with hairspray. AND IT WORKS. One thing I will warn though is that it is a bitch to take off. Like scrub real hard with the makeup remover. And beware you will be left stained but it does go away within 1-2 days. BUT SCRUB HARD. It's like tkaing off sharpie, except all over. ANd make sure to moisturize before putting anything on. Your skin is gonna feel a bit suffocated if it's too heavy. I got the white too, but it's pretty thin.

And piece of all is what I spent almost 12 hours on. Made the collar pretty much all from scrap fabric, hand sewing, and a button. This pic was taken at 4 am. without sleep, sweating up a storm, with cats fighting in the background. It's gonna look much nicer at Daisho hopefully. It will probably be ironed and have the finishing pearls. Maybe add more if the thing isn't long enough in the front.

Just waiting for test runs now! I'm actually really excited to be able to see this finished, hopefully in the next week. I have an idea for the headpiece ready to test out soon as well

New Series Premier

Hey guys! I know we've been away for a while but I'm trying to find things to post on here. I didn't get a lot of really good pictures of Pyrhha during the convention so I haven't posted any, I'm trying to figure something out(bare with me). As for videos, SRP has some "Cosplay Confessions" specific videos done but they are stuck in post. I'm going to do something I promise!

But we did get one thing done!

We have a new series out now and the first episode introduces Danial and Phillip. Its a Penumbra and Amnesia cross over series that we are putting out. Lets see how things play out for the two.

Birthday's, videos, and hashtags?

Hey lovely duckies! This is the last weekend before our dreaded finals and we had some fun this week.

We first started off with celebrating Tricia's 18th birthday. Tons of things were twitted and we had wonderful classy dinner conversations about mono.

Long time no post!? Daisho Con 2013 in review

Sorry duckies, we've been slacking over here at SRP. A few of us work retail and then the others get swamped with hw. Again sorry.

The new holiday seasons is inspiring me to do more diy's for Cosplay Confessions and makeup tutorials. We'll see how they go.

Daisho Con was amazing this year! Diva is still recovering from her con hangover but she getting there. We had a blast and I vlogged a lot this past weekend so yay!

As for some mini news we are gearing up to get new gear over here at SRP. Possibly a new camera, tripod, external hard drives and what not. Probably gonna go diy some extra camera gear in the process using some stuff from pinterest. Diva and I were inspired by the The Enthusiast panel that we caught the tail end of. It was super informative and now we wish we'd caught their posing panel. They are awesome! We seriously suggest checking them out if you are ever at a convention with them :)

 And ya! Thanks to Misaki cosplay who was formerly a part of SRP but she's doing some pretty awesome stuff now so way to go for her! The shots turned out great :>

I'm gonna go sift through our vlogging footage and see what makes the cut or not! Hope to write a bit more later!

New school year and new videos to come!

Hello lovely peanut butterfly's! Even though SRP is headed back to school for our last year(bowling for soup lied! Highschool does end!), we aren't going to forget about you! We have a whole lot of stuff up our sleeves including makeup tutorials, diys, convention videos and tons of other fun articles and Lulu vs Patterns! We might even be opening up to guest bloggers and starting up the "share your cosplay confessions with us" article!
