RB's motivation: NOTEPAD HERE WE GO update haul 1

So have been ignoring this a little bit because of some major anger issues involving certain fuck ups in the family. Also losing the ipod in Target didn't help, got it back with in two days. But then things happened that were a bit distracting. BUT I hope to be back. And with less than a week till move in day for College. We are really rushing the clock on life and money these days.

I got quite a bit done for Notepad I think, like considering how much work goes into that design and I'm actually doing it somehow. This is not a most recent picture. I have doubles up that black gunk by a bit and I like it better. 

Here it shows I used up all that fabric from the Cosplay Fox. And it's quite thick like I need it yet I STILL NEED MORE FABRIC for that full ball gown effect. Good thing I have some curtain fabric from Tricia to test out later on. That will be another post because layering these things is HELL AND TEDIOUS. Not hard or difficult, just time consuming. 

Also if anyone saw the last post they know that the white petticoat is not available at party city yet, for some reason. And so I had to test it out using the red one I bought for RWBY

I'm really digging the but bumpish thing going on with the back. Not as impressed with the floof in the front

Also not totally connected to Notepad but it does matter for her. I found the facepaint at Party city, I was scared of the cheap quality so I sealed it with hairspray. AND IT WORKS. One thing I will warn though is that it is a bitch to take off. Like scrub real hard with the makeup remover. And beware you will be left stained but it does go away within 1-2 days. BUT SCRUB HARD. It's like tkaing off sharpie, except all over. ANd make sure to moisturize before putting anything on. Your skin is gonna feel a bit suffocated if it's too heavy. I got the white too, but it's pretty thin.

And piece of all is what I spent almost 12 hours on. Made the collar pretty much all from scrap fabric, hand sewing, and a button. This pic was taken at 4 am. without sleep, sweating up a storm, with cats fighting in the background. It's gonna look much nicer at Daisho hopefully. It will probably be ironed and have the finishing pearls. Maybe add more if the thing isn't long enough in the front.

Just waiting for test runs now! I'm actually really excited to be able to see this finished, hopefully in the next week. I have an idea for the headpiece ready to test out soon as well
